Our resort at Schlitterbahn Waterparks is surrounded by a rich history of family and fun that our founders, the Henry family, established way before opening Schlitterbahn in 1979. While maintaining this rich history, our staff have made some phenomenal upgrades to our resort rooms. Check out some of the upgrades that are making guests never want to leave the Bahn.

The Henry Haus

The Henry Haus holds a special place in our heart, and is the definition of family. This beautiful five bedroom home is the original home of the Henry family. The family decided to turn the home into a resort space in 1994, and resort guest have enjoyed its five bedrooms and great outdoor gathering space ever since. The kitchen in the Haus has been fully renovated with grey toned granite counter tops, new cabinets with stained finishes, and stainless steel appliances, all of which give the home a very modern feel. With these new appliances, it is very likely that we will take out a home warranty plan (find out more here) at some point to help ensure that we’re not breaking the bank should any of these wonderful and high-quality appliances break or malfunction in the future. It happens, so we want to make sure that we do everything we can to protect the renovations that have just been made to this Haus. With that being said, the spacious kitchen is great for large parties or family gatherings and is within walking distance of the Congo Expedition in the original section of the park.

The Bungalow (235)

This standalone cottage overlooks the Comal River, and is the perfect summer get away. The Bungalow is one of the original buildings still in use from when the area, now referred to as The Resort at the Bahn, used to be Camp Landa. The entire inside of the cottage has been brought to life with new hardwood floors, a hardwood back wall, and a redesigned restroom. The cottage offers a rustic vibe with an industrialized finish, perfect for any couple or small family looking to relax Bahn style.
