Live Oak Super Structure: This is an actual live oak that we recovered and made part of our Treehaus structure. When large trees have fallen or are being removed, often times arborists reach out to us to give them a second life here at Schlitterbahn. Live oaks can live 200 years or more and are used occasionally for shipbuilding and tool handles because of their strength, energy absorption, and density. You can find this tree continue a second life in our Surfenberg area of our New Braunfels park, directly under the TreeHauses.
Awesome local waterpark
my kids and i visit almost every sunday during the summer months , we live about an hour away , but well worth the drive , parking is easy and accessible, they let you bring in your own food and drinks , the attractions are plentiful , and the staff is very friendly, the lazy river is awesome , there are days we just float around that the whole time, see a short line for a ride , jump out and it usually outs you right back in the river, food is available, we just normally end our day with a oreo cookie funnel cake located by the exit. -- Brian C., Trip Advisor for Galveston location

So much fun!
We took our daughter. We had a blast, we stayed off site, but will definitely stay on site next time to get the biggest bang for our buck.

“Great place to spend your Summer!”
I make it a point to invest in season passes for my entire family year after year. This place offers plenty of shade, bring your own food, (a must for that busy mom) and of course attraction for all ages. Every life guard is professionally trained and has hours of continuing education per year. I can not rave on their customer service enough, the entire staff from front entrance to gift shop employees are very professional and helpful. Blessed to live so close to one of the Worlds BEST (if not the best) waterparks.
