We took Sunday Funday to a whole new level this year with BeerFest. We rang in the last day of operation at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels, which was also coincidentally the last official day of summer, with the enthusiasm of a kid on Christmas morning. The sun was out, the beer was cold and the jams were solid- thanks to the The Lawrence Band and The Bigsbys Band.

If you weren’t able to make it this year, fear not. Here is a run down of everything you missed.

10. Tasting beers with clever names like “Elliott’s Phoned Home American Pale Ale” and “Naked Nun Wit”.

9.  The opportunity to let your inner kid out and play on the “jumpy castles.” (look in the background)

8. A waterpark, a river, a lawn, and beer. Only in Texas.
